For my book I picked "God gave us you," because it talkes about how children are born, and the story is really cute. The illustrations are great and it gives children a sense of individuality. Even if your not religious, I think it's a great book because it explains that every child is created differently and unique...and was made for a purpose. I love it, and I read it to my daughter frequently. I can tell, that after we are done reading it, she feels comforted and happy. She understands that she is very special, and no other child can replace her ever. Well...thats why I like the book. It is a contraversial topic because other people dont like their kids to think there is a superior being, which might give them false hope. Personally I think thats stupid..so what if it turns out there is no god? Whats the worst it can do? Make the kid feel happy? lol. I think this book is appropriate for everyone.
